17th October / GROGLEY

Grogley Woods, Bodmin, Cornwall, PL30 5LX

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Due to the current circumstances of the COVID-19 pandemic and government guidelines, we have had to reschedule our final round of the SWKE (previously Rd2) and make adjustments to its structure...

Rd2 of the SWKE to be held at Grogley Woods, Cornwall on the 21st of June, will now be Rd3, held on the 18th of October.

The Gallos Downhill will be held the day before, on Saturday the 17th of October.

All entries that have already been purchased for the June dates will be automatically transferred to the new October dates. If you are unable to make the rescheduled event, you may request a refund (minus a £15 admin fee - please see Section 14 of our Rules) or receive a promo code for one free entry to any of our future events, with no expiry date.

Please note; with the current social distancing rules, that we presume will still be in effect at the time, we have taken the decision to cancel the Cotton Wood Classic XC.

We hope all our riders, friends, sponsors and their families have stayed safe, happy and well during these uncertain times. We are very grateful for your continued support throughout and look forward to seeing you all again on the track.

South West Enduro Series presents the Gallos Downhill at Grogley Woods on Saturday the 17th October 2020.

Gallos; ’can do’ or ‘able’ in Cornish and the name of a famous monarch’s sculpture attributed to power.

These mini downhill style events are all about fun and excitement.

Riders make their own way to the top of the hill to get to the front of the starting line. Every racer gets to complete two race runs, with the best time counted in the overall, this way you get the chance to put any mistake behind you and get the best result you can.

One fully marshalled downhill race stage.

Red flags indicate that riders must stop. In any instance when a flagged situation has occurred, the starting marshal will close the track and any riders on track during the closure are given reruns.
